Majorca Golfing Holidays
Majorca is paradise for golf lovers. Golfers choose the island as their favourite destination for lots of reasons; a unique
variety of golf courses, the relaxing Mediterranean setting, the leisure and culture and of course the fantastic climate.
With moderate temperatures and low rainfall it is an all year round destination for golfers.
Many golf competitions are held in Majorca, such as the Spanish Professional Championship, The Balearic
Islands Trophy and the Challenge H.R.H. Count of Barcelona amongst others. The courses are very accommodating, and always
make you feel comfortable whether it be on the golf course or within the clubhouses. Facilities at all the courses are of a
good standard, and provide the services you'd expect, such as changing rooms, storage service, club rental, buggies,
pro shops, cafeterias and practice courses complete with instructors qualified by the PGA.
Distance is not an issue in Majorca. In less than an hours drive you can play at most of the golf courses that are
situated throughout the island. Each golf course has its own challenges and characteristics. They provide an exceptional
combination of holes in a peaceful natural setting, all just a short distance from your hotel. Guests staying at certain
hotels also qualify for reduced green fees.
