Alcudia

Situated at the north end of the island between the bays of Alcudia and Pollenca. 34 miles from Palma, about a 45-60 minute drive. The resort boasts one of the longest beaches on the island, with fine white sand that shelves gently to the sea making this a favourite for families with safe bathing. Daytime activities available include a range of watersports with boat trips. The Water-park and Go-carting centre at the edge of the town are firm favourites with children. The old town with its historic Roman Ruins is worth visting. Evening nightlife is centred in the port area with its variety of bars, and clubs. Delightful waterfront restaurants can also be found in this area. Many of the hotels in the area offer their own evening entertainment programme. Public transport is good with a frequent resort bus service and links to the nearby Puerto Pollensa and Ca`n Picafort.
