Cala Ratjada
Cala Ratjada is situated in the north eastern part of Majorca, 40 miles northeast of Palma and the airport. It comprises a marina, harbour and promenade and most activity is centred on the marina. Tourism in this fishing port began in the 1960s and today there are lots of souvenir shops, cafes, bars, discos and beer gardens.
The resort is especially popular with tourists but suits both young and old as it has activities both day and night to suit all ages. In the winter, it is popular with older couples seeking winter sunshine.
The main beach is that of Son Moll which is a short stretch of sand backed by a busy promenade.
