Immensee
Immensee is one of three villages making up the district of Kussnacht in the canton of Schwyz, and set on the south shore of Lake Zug close to Mount Rigi.
Well-preserved and renovated buildings going back hundreds of years are scattered around a small, peaceful village square, and close by is the Hohle Gasse, the ravine between Kussnacht and Immensee where folk hero William Tell assassinated the Habsburg governor in the 14th century (the spot is now marked by an information centre).
